Mr. Silver-lining

We've had a lot going on lately.  Nothing earth-shattering but definitely a lot of small things that have added stress to our lives and forced us to be dependent upon others in a number of capacities.  Stress and dependence make me grumpy and yesterday I lashed out at LJ a little more than he deserved for not picking up his toys.  I felt horrible about it and had to apologize.  In doing so, I mentioned that mom is extra cranky due to a number of things including ...  ... ... and the car being broken and needing to get a new one.  He leaned in, gave me a kiss on the cheek and said, "I forgive you.  That's okay, Mom.  I didn't like the little car anyway."  And that made things seem a little bit better.
